A different Take on Wonderment Wednesday

I love Wednesday....a time for me to get out of the studio.  I tend to get lost in the "zen like" creative process of my work.  I like to use Wednesday to meet other artists, see other studios, visit a unique Asheville Building, or hike on of the many fab trails.

But since I crashed on that driveway and had shoulder surgery, driving has been painful, and out of my abilities whilst on heavy duty pain meds.   So my Wednesdays have been quiet, here at home, resting and healing.

Today though, I was full of wonder.  I went to see my surgeon, Dr. Groh at Blue Ridge Bone and Joint.   He has been awesome:  always answering questions and helping with pain management.  His staff is efficient and kind, which helps when you have to have very painful x-rays, to say the least.

So my wonderment is that I am getting better, and at times it didn't feel like it and seemed impossible.  I still can only life one pound, which is a far cry from what I normally do at the Gold's Gym.  But I've moved on to exercises to increase my range of motion.  That's progress.

That said, I can't wait until I can get out again for Wonderment Wednesday.  Believe me, I've been working on a list of places to go.  Stay tuned!
